FOOD AWARENESS FILM SERIES

 

The word “gourmet” sometimes carries with it a stigma of meaning “expensive dining, obscure ingredients, difficult and artistic preparations with small portions. We believe these connotations couldn’t be further from the truth and “gourmet” needs to be redefined. Gourmet is about REAL FOOD! It’s about taking the time to prepare meals at home using real ingredients.  It is about supporting your local farmers, exploring your palate, eating at a table instead of in front of the TV or in your car, and it is about family and friends. And it can mean so much more to each person if you let it.

 

The movies shown at our shop highlight, challenge and explore these beliefs.  Documentaries, Lectures, Kids Movies, International Films and just good fun Hollywood movies with a focus on food will be shown throughout the year at various times & dates.  Bring a folding chair of some sort or a bean bag and join us. 

 

Summer Showings begin at 7:00pm and are free, unless otherwise noted. Please reserve a space as our shop has limited seating.  508-255-1112 .  You are welcome to bring a drink, but bathrooms are not available, and no alcohol please. 18 or older unless otherwise stated.
